Keep Add to Cart in reach — without leaving your theme

Quick Sticky Add to Cart Bar pins product, price, and a cart button while shoppers scroll. Merchants configure everything in Admin. Shoppers never create a Quick Sticky ATC account.

Size, color, and quantity stay on the page. The sticky bar keeps Add to Cart visible after the main button scrolls away.

Add to cart

Sticky bar on a product page — based on your theme, not a separate storefront.

Setup

Live in three steps

No custom theme code for the core widget. You install the app, customize the bar, and enable the embed.

1

Install on your shop

Log in with your shop domain. Shopify handles OAuth. Quick Sticky ATC stores a shop-scoped session — not shopper accounts.

2

Customize the bar

Choose When to show, mobile and desktop layout, colors, button label, and display rules in the embedded admin. Save writes settings to your shop's app metafields.

3

Enable the theme embed

Open the theme editor, turn on Quick Sticky Add to Cart Bar as an app embed, and save. Placement, colors, and content stay configurable.

Product

What merchants get

A Theme App Extension sticky bar — plus when-to-show rules, mobile and desktop layouts, colors, display rules, and usage analytics — configured per shop in Admin.

When to show

Always on, after scroll starts, or after the shopper passes the theme's Add to Cart button. Homepage display is optional.

Mobile & desktop layouts

Separate placement, height, and content toggles: image, title, price, compare-at, variant, quantity, and review stars. Minimal or complete style on mobile.

Theme App Extension

App embed on the product template (and optional homepage). Scoped CSS, async-loaded script, and add to cart through Shopify's cart Ajax — not a separate checkout.

Colors & button

Background, text, sale, border, button colors, and corner radius. Override the button label, or keep the theme translation for Add to Cart.

Display rules

All products, include lists, or exclude lists. Filter by tags, price, discount percent, and inventory. Product picker uses read_products.

Bar analytics

Daily impressions, clicks, CTR, attributed add-to-carts, and estimated revenue in Admin. Counts stay at zero until the embed is live.

App proxy tracking

Beacons post to /apps/satc on your shop. Shopify HMAC is verified before an aggregated event is stored.

Shop-scoped & GDPR ready

Every table is tied to the installing shop. Mandatory compliance webhooks (data request, customer redact, shop redact) are implemented — not empty stubs.

Install, theme embed, display rules, analytics, and data handling — jump straight to a matching FAQ.

How do I install Quick Sticky Add to Cart Bar on my Shopify store?

Open this site and enter your .myshopify.com domain, or install from the Shopify App Store. Shopify handles OAuth. After you approve the app, you land in the embedded admin — there is no separate app password. From Home, enable the Theme App Extension embed, then save your bar settings.

How do I show the sticky bar on the storefront?

In the theme editor, enable Quick Sticky Add to Cart Bar as an app embed and save. The bar is built as a Theme App Extension, so you do not paste custom Liquid for the core widget. Open Settings in the app to choose when it appears, mobile and desktop layout, colors, and which products it should show on.

Do I need to edit my theme’s code?

No. The bar ships as a Theme App Extension. Enable the embed in the theme editor, then customize When to show, layout, colors, and display rules in the app admin. Add to cart uses Shopify’s cart Ajax on your shop domain.

When does the bar appear?

In Settings you can show it always, when the shopper starts scrolling, or after they scroll past the theme’s Add to Cart button. You can also turn the bar on or off separately for mobile and desktop, and optionally show it on the homepage.

Can I style mobile and desktop differently?

Yes. Mobile can use a complete or minimal bar, top or bottom placement, and toggles for image, title, price, variant, quantity, and review stars. Desktop has height, content width, button size, compare-at price, and the same content toggles. Colors, corner radius, and button label are shared.

How do display rules work?

You can show the bar on all products, only on products you include, or on all products except those you exclude. Rules can also use product tags, price range, discount percent, and inventory range. The product picker uses the read_products Admin scope; selected titles and images are merchant configuration, not shopper data.

What do the analytics counts mean?

Analytics stores aggregated daily counts of bar impressions, clicks, and sticky-attributed add-to-cart events (with estimated revenue from the variant price). Counts stay at zero until the embed is live. No shopper names, emails, or IP addresses are stored.

What data does the app store?

The app stores shop-scoped sessions, a Shop tenant row, bar settings as app-owned metafields on your Shopify install, aggregated sticky-bar analytics, optional support-form messages, and non-PII compliance audit rows. It uses the Admin GraphQL API only. See the Privacy Policy for permissions, retention, and GDPR webhooks.

Do shoppers create an account?

No. Shoppers only see the sticky bar on your storefront and add items through Shopify’s cart. They never create a login here. The app does not request customer or order Admin scopes.

How does the app handle GDPR and uninstall?

Mandatory Shopify compliance webhooks are implemented: customer data request, customer redact, shop redact, and app uninstall. After uninstall or shop redact, sessions, Shop tenant data, queue jobs for that shop, and sticky analytics are deleted. ComplianceRequest audit rows are kept without raw webhook bodies.

What is the App Proxy used for?

Storefront analytics beacons and optional theme-editor color sync post to /apps/satc on your shop so requests stay on your domain. Shopify signs those requests; the app verifies HMAC before recording an aggregated event or saving general colors.

How do I contact support?

Installed merchants can use Contact inside the app admin. You can also email the address on this site. Privacy and legal questions belong in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service — not in Shopify’s generic inboxes.

Configure the bar, analytics, and support contact inside Shopify Admin — not a separate merchant portal.

App proxy

Storefront tracking calls /apps/satc on your shop so requests stay on your domain.

Least privilege

The product picker uses read_products. Quick Sticky ATC does not request customer or order data.
